From HR Professional to CEO: A Journey of Transforming Lives and Embracing Natural Living

My journey from being an HR professional to becoming the CEO and Next Generational Founder of Nothing Cleaner has been an incredible and transformative experience. It all started back in 2009 when I first learned about my dad's (Barry) collaboration with a fisherman to develop and bring a product to life in 2016. At that time, I had no idea about the importance of living a natural lifestyle or the potential harm that everyday products could cause. To be honest, I didn't really care as long as I could get my home cleaned.

However, everything changed for me in August 2014 when I received the devastating diagnosis of breast cancer, stage 4. Over the course of a year, I underwent four surgeries and six rounds of chemotherapy. During this challenging time, I had to take a break from work, which allowed me to dedicate my days to research and watching documentaries. I became obsessed with understanding why, at the age of 28, I was facing such a difficult battle. I wanted to know what I had done to cause this to happen to me.

This period of my life was undoubtedly dark and trying, but it also opened my eyes to the harmful ingredients present in many everyday products. I delved deep into researching the composition of these products and the effects they have on our health. It became clear to me that we were unknowingly exposing ourselves to unnecessary risks that could easily be avoided. As a result, I made significant changes to our lifestyle, habits, and purchasing choices. These changes, I believe, played a crucial role in my ability to conceive and have two beautiful girls.

In 2020, as I prepared to return from maternity leave with my second daughter, I faced another unexpected challenge. My employer decided to downsize the business, and unfortunately, I was the last one hired, resulting in me losing my position. Determined to stay productive and utilize my skills, I turned to my dad for guidance. I asked if I could assist him in any way, as I felt a strong desire to contribute to something meaningful. Unofficially, I started helping with his business ideas, handling administrative tasks and managing social media.

As time went on, the idea began to grow and gain traction. Recognizing the potential and the impact we could have, I approached my dad with a proposition. I asked him to hire me full-time so that I could fully dedicate myself to the business and take it to new heights. After much consideration, he agreed, and that marked the official beginning of my journey as a full-time team member of Nothing Cleaner.

Shortly after joining the company, we faced a tough decision: rebranding. We realized that in order to truly make a difference and convey our commitment to natural living, we needed a fresh start. From that moment on, we became Nothing Cleaner, a name that encompasses our mission to provide safe and natural cleaning products for everyone.

Since then, we have been working tirelessly to build and expand Nothing Cleaner. As the CEO and next generational founder, I have had the privilege of leading a team that is passionate about creating a better future. Together, we have developed a range of innovative, eco-friendly, and effective cleaning solutions that prioritize the health and well-being of our customers.

Through our journey, we have not only focused on creating products but also educating and empowering individuals to make informed choices about the products they use daily. We strongly believe that by raising awareness and offering alternatives, we can make a significant impact on the overall well-being of individuals and the environment.

Transitioning from an HR professional to a CEO and next generational founder has been a remarkable experience for me. It has allowed me to combine my passion for natural living with my skills in management and leadership. I am grateful for the challenges I have faced and the lessons I have learned, as they have shaped me into the determined and resilient individual I am today.

As I continue this journey, my ultimate goal is to inspire and motivate others to embrace a natural lifestyle and make conscious choices for themselves and their families. Together, we can create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable world for generations to come.
